Hi, my name's Matt and I'm the founder of www.warrebeehive.co.uk
I'm a third generation beekeeper and currently keep bees in both Warré and Langstroth hives.
I first became interested in Warré hives a couple of years ago. Warré's idea of keeping bees in a hive with similar dimensions to a tree trunk makes sense to me, as does adding hive boxes underneath, providing a shavings-filled quilt and, most important of all, letting the bees do what they do best without me interfering.
